10 Tenets in Action – The PeopleFirst Platform

The 10 Tenets of Institutional Leadership Capital Building articulate our Values & Behaviours, which in turn demonstrate the overarching philosophy of “We Care”—for people, planet, and prosperity.

Across Reliance, individuals and teams demonstrate these 10 Tenets in the work they do. One such initiative that showcases these 10 Tenets in action is the PeopleFirst platform, jointly developed by Reliance Jio and Group HR, and led by Seema Nair, Sr EVP, Head - Group HR Office and Head - Group HR Digitization, RIL.

The PeopleFirst platform demonstrates the collaborative efforts of teams from across Reliance and Jio. With its many integrated solutions, the platform demonstrates what can happen when 1+1 comes together to become 11—what Chairman Mukesh Ambani called Cooperation Capital.

As the name suggests, the PeopleFirst platform was designed keeping people’s needs at the centre. The platform offers a host of integrated solutions for Business Leader Enablement, Hiring and Onboarding, Professional Services to help employees enhance their skillsets and develop new competencies, Performance and Rewards, Culture and Experience at Reliance, and Infrastructure and Employee Services.

Creating a platform of this scale and complexity demonstrates thinking ahead and mastering the latest technologies—a shining example of Technology and Innovation Capital in our organization.

Further, these services are aimed at enabling our people to achieve their fullest potential, so that they can invest in themselves to strengthen their Achievement Capital.
